Terms & Condition

General T&C

  1. In case of any Flight/Train cancellation, which might affect the operation of the tour, Lone Tree shall not be responsible for the same and the cancellation will be applicable as per the policy.
  2. The tour guide/operator reserves the right to make changes or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, political strike or bandh, security reasons etc.
  3. Kindly inform us if any of the guests are senior citizens or have medical issues (like arthritis, heart problems etc.) that may need special arrangements. Some itineraries will not be suitable for such guests and we will advise accordingly.
  4. The security concerns, driver’s working hours etc. will be kept in mind while planning the tour and sightseeing. 
  5. We try to ensure that the sightseeing points do not fall on a closing day. If any inevitable situation arises and the sightseeing point is closed on that day, it will have to be left out. Visiting that sightseeing point on the next day will be subject to the timeline of the itinerary.
  6. Once the tour is booked & confirmed,  refund will only be applicable as per the refund policy of the company. There will be no refund of any unutilized service during the tour in part or in full whatsoever may be the reason.
  7. Any service that is not mentioned in the aforementioned terms and conditions but is provided by Lone Tree’s associate partner/third party vendors will be subject to the terms and conditions of Lone Tree’s associate partner/third party vendors. Kindly read all terms and conditions of Lone Tree’s associate partner/third party before taking the service.

Hotel/Resort/Homestay T&C

  1. Upgradation of room after check-in is payable at the hotel directly.
  2. WiFi speed/connectivity is subject to availability and may vary for different properties.
  3. Phone network connectivity may vary for different network providers and may also vary in different locations within the property.
  4. Air conditioning in rooms is subject to availability especially in colder regions or in remote locations.
  5. Hotel/Resort/Homestay room invoices will be issued to LONE TREE CONSULTANTS PVT LTD. In case the guests require an invoice for their stay, we will provide the same. Please be informed that direct invoices from hotel/resort/homestay will not be available.
  6. Availability of room heaters/fireplace is subject to availability in colder destinations.
  7. Kindly note that all requests like early check-in, smoking room/non-smoking room, rooms with views, specific floor in the building, king size bed/twin bed, adjoining and/or interconnecting rooms are strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  8. All hotels/resorts/homestays do not have lift/elevator facility and the guest may have to climb stairs. In case the guest(s) have medical issues pertaining to  blood pressure, asthma, knee & heart issue etc wherein they find difficulty in climbing the higher floors, kindly notify us the same at the time of booking so that we may take appropriate action. However, the facility requested by you is again subject to availability.
  9. Lift/Elevator, Tea/Coffee maker, Mini refrigerator, Toiletry kit etc may be given in most hotels/resorts/homestays. However, they are not a mandatory part of 3/4 Star or any lower category of hotels/resorts/homestays. If guests have specific requirements, kindly inform us and we will select properties accordingly. These amenities and facilities vary for different properties.
  10. Facilities like western lavatory, television in room, geyser in bathrooms may not be available in all properties (especially in remote locations). For specific requirements, kindly inform us and we will try to provide depending on the availability.
  11. For CP (Breakfast only), MAP (Breakfast & one major meal) and AP (All major meals) meal plan, the menu will be on a fixed plan basis and not on A-la-Carta basis. MAP & AP Meal plans do not include evening snacks & soft drinks/liquor, soups or desserts. We can arrange for the same at additional cost on prior information. For order on A-la-Carta basis, guests are requested to make direct payment for additional items to the hotel/resort/homestay.
  12. For early morning check out, breakfast options may be very limited.
  13. Consumption and serving of alcohol in hotel/resort/homestay is subject to hotel’s rules and regulations. In some properties or within some States in India, consumption of alcohol is not allowed.
  14. Some locations do not have star category properties. In such cases, similar category hotels/resorts/homestays with the best available room will be provided.
  15. Certain categories of rooms may or may not be identical.
  16. For group tours, all rooms in one property may not be available.
  17. In any specific hotel/resort/homestay; an extra person sharing the room, or a child with an extra bed, will be provided with an extra mattress or rollaway bed as per the availability.
  18. In remote locations, where there is no backup, scarcity of water & electricity may be an issue. Guests are requested to bear with such issues that may arise in certain locations.

Vehicle T&C

  1. Littering from a moving vehicle is not acceptable and is fully discouraged. Guests are requested to store the waste materials inside the vehicle in the vehicle bin or in a makeshift waste bin. The waste items should later be disposed of in the designated disposal waste bin.
  2. Usage of air conditioning may be restricted during uphill climbs or in hilly regions.
  3. Overhead carriers in vehicles may not be allowed in many locations as per the local law. Availability of vehicles with overhead carriers cannot be guaranteed.
  4. Vehicles will be available on a point-to-point basis.
  5. The working hours for vehicle drivers/chauffeur is 8 hours per day. Extra working hours may be chargeable as applicable.
  6. Kindly follow the sightseeing time strictly, and please be aware of the opening and closing time of any given sightseeing point of interest.
  7. The vehicle used will be exclusive for the booking guest & his/her group and will not be at disposal under any circumstance.
  8. Half day sightseeing will be for 4 hours.
  9. Full day sightseeing must conclude by 6:00 PM as per the guest’s given itinerary. For additional usage, per km or per hour will be charged as per usage.
  10. Some hotels/resorts/homestays which are located in the market area or any busy locality may not have a designated parking space. The guests may need to wait at the reception for a few minutes before the vehicle arrives outside the property or at the nearest possible point from the property.
  11. Due to unforeseen circumstances (traffic congestion/traffic halts/diversions etc.), the vehicle may arrive later than the designated time.
  12. Due to parking area scarcity, some areas may restrict the entry of vehicles & specific time may be allotted for entry and exit. Kindly follow the time allotment strictly as informed to you.
  13. In No Parking Zones, the vehicle will get parked in the nearest available parking area. In such a case, you may have to wait for the vehicle to arrive.
  14. We do not operate night travel, so if you have a transfer to another destination in the afternoon, please maintain the sightseeing timings and be aware of the time that is required to reach your next destination.
  15. In case any destination is covered twice or additional destinations are included, additional charges will be applicable as per km/per hour basis.
  16. During monsoons, heavy showers are possible and tarpaulin may not cover all the luggage on the overhead carrier. In such a case, luggage may have to be loaded inside the vehicle.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments/museums, Taxes, fuel cost or Guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Lone Tree Consultants Pvt Ltd act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
