Overview

This is where your comfort zone ends and your adventure begins. The Tawang Circuit is built for riders who crave altitude, isolation, and raw mountain roads. Over six days, you push from Assam’s river plains into high Himalayan passes, frozen lakes, ancient monasteries, and one of India’s most dramatic border frontiers. You ride through shifting weather, changing landscapes, and roads that demand focus, confidence, and respect. If you want a holiday, look elsewhere. If you want a story you’ll tell for years, this is your road.

F.A.Q

Do I need permits for the Tawang Bike Tour and Bumla Pass ride?

Yes. All riders require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Arunachal Pradesh, and special army permits for Bumla Pass, which is near the India–China border. Our team manages the complete permit process, including documentation and on-ground coordination, so you can focus entirely on the ride.

How difficult is the Tawang Circuit Motorcycle Tour?

The Tawang Circuit bike tour is a moderate to challenging Himalayan ride. Riders cover long mountain stretches, high-altitude passes like Sela Pass (13,700 ft)& Bumla Pass (15,200 feet), and unpredictable weather conditions. This tour is ideal for riders with prior hill or long-distance riding experience.

Which bike is provided for this Arunachal Pradesh Motorcycle Tour?

We provide Royal Enfield Himalayan 450cc motorcycles, selected for stability and performance on rough Himalayan terrain. Each tour includes a backup vehicle, professional mechanic, and full fuel support to ensure a safe and smooth riding experience.

How is altitude sickness and rider safety managed on this Himalayan Bike Expedition?

Safety is a top priority on our Tawang motorcycle tour. The itinerary includes acclimatization time in Tawang, and our support crew carries oxygen cylinders, oximeters, first-aid kits, and essential medical supplies. An experienced tour captain and local guides travel with the group throughout the journey.

What is included in the Tawang Circuit Tour package, and what should I bring?

The tour package includes accommodation, daily breakfast and dinners, motorcycle with fuel, permits, support vehicle, mechanic, and expert tour guide. Riders should bring full riding gear, thermal layers, riding boots, valid driving license, government ID (Aadhaar or Passport), and personal medication for high-altitude conditions.
