Schedule Details

DAY 1: INTO THE KHASI HILLS – ROAD TRIP & BONFIRE NIGHTS

We start early from Guwahati, stopping for breakfast on the highway before ascending into the misty Khasi Hills. Scenic photo breaks at Umiam Lake and viewpoints make the drive unforgettable. By afternoon, we reach our destination for overnight stay and check into our campsite. Evening sets the mood with a cozy bonfire (weather permitting), where we share storiestaste local snacks, and soak in the crisp air of Meghalaya. The night closes with hearty food and laughter under a starry highland sky.

DAY 2: WAH MYOR LIVING ROOT BRIDGE ADVENTURE

After breakfast, we drive to Mawshuit village and begin our trek through lush greenery leading to Wah Myor. Here lies the breathtaking living root bridge, gracefully arching over turquoise waters and natural pools. You can enjoy cliffside photography, dip your feet in the cool waters, or take a refreshing swim under supervision. The tranquil setting, surrounded by forested slopes, feels like stepping into a hidden paradise. By late afternoon, we arrive back to Guwahati with memories of root bridges, turquoise rivers, bonfire nights, and Meghalaya’s breathtaking highlands.
