Honeymoon Diaries
9th Feb’2019, when we got married and 14th Feb’2019 we had our tickets booked to Malaysia.
We were thrilled, excited, and nervous, all at once. It was the first international trip we were about to take; we had no idea whatsoever about Visas, currency exchanges, Sim cards, the topography of the place, etc. It was our honeymoon, it goes without saying, and we wanted it to be hassle-free. Special thanks to Lone Tree who made sure our stay and transport remained memorable and comfortable. The trip was so well planned that we didn’t panic even once.
We were privately received at the Kuala Lumpur airport and given Sim cards which were active till the end of our trip and were dropped at the Ibis hotel. Our private car would be at our hotel doorstep every morning for the sightseeing like Twin towers, aquariums, chocolate factories, shopping areas, Genting islands, etc. The best part about these tourist spots was that the entry tickets were all pre-booked and thus nowhere we had to take queues or spend a penny extra.
Together with the city tour, our itinerary had beaches and mountains too at Langkawi. We had taken a flight from KL to Langkawi where we were again privately received and taken to a resort, this time with a beach view. Trust me this place had the best of natural beauty, food, and people. A cute little city where every place is accessible on the foot. BTW Langkawi is known as the world’s cheapest duty-free region which saved us a lot of money on purchasing gifts for all back in India. Langkawi trip had boat rides to other islands, snorkeling, hiking, and much more. The resort had organized live performances in the evening with an open bar and whistling sea in the background.
We highly recommend Lone Tree for such amazing trips in and outside of India.
